In September of 2012, Washburn University engaged the team of Sasaki Associates and Bartlett & West to develop a campus master plan that enhances the student-centered and teaching-focused learning experience of Washburn University. The master plan is also intended to identify space utilization and space needs for Washburn University and Washburn Institute of Technology (Washburn Tech) as a guide for decision-making and resource allocation. The master plan process is designed to establish a baseline status then produce strong, yet flexible strategies for future growth that will endure; this is based upon a planning process that engages the entire campus community as well as the Topeka community. Please visit the master plan website often to review work-to-date, project schedule, and provide feedback.
